I've RIA drawings specifing barrel markings on a completely new USGI rifle Which marking is just not authorized.    The "C" around the barrel would reveal a chrome chamber only barrel. But AFAIK, Colt marked the "C" up near the muzzle on their early barrels, not underneath the handguards. Pic of Entrance Sight Foundation is a little fuzzy. I'm ab
